After placing an order on Kingston Express, you may realize you need to make a change — such as updating an item, quantity, or delivery details.
This guide explains what can be changed, what cannot, and what to do next.

🔔 Orders cannot be edited directly after they are placed.
However, you may still be able to request changes depending on the order status and seller approval.
Why Orders Can’t Be Edited Directly #
For security and accuracy reasons:
- Payments are processed immediately
- Sellers begin preparing orders quickly
- Editing orders could cause billing or delivery issues

Step 1: Check Your Order Status #
Before requesting any changes:
- Log in to your Kingston Express account
- Go to My Account → Orders
- Click View on the order
- Check the order status


Step 2: What Changes May Be Possible #
You may be able to request changes if the order is:
- Pending Payment
- Processing
- On Hold
Possible changes (seller approval required):
- Item quantity
- Item replacement
- Delivery address or phone number
- Delivery instructions
⏳ Changes are more likely if the seller hasn’t shipped the order yet.
Step 3: Contact the Seller Immediately #
Since Kingston Express is a multivendor marketplace, only the seller can approve changes.

- Open your order page
- Scroll to the Seller / Store information
- Click Contact Seller
- Send a clear message explaining the change
- Include your order number

When Changes Are NOT Possible #
You usually cannot change an order if:
- It has been shipped
- It is marked Completed
- The seller has already handed it to a courier

What If the Seller Can’t Make the Change? #
If changes are not possible, the seller may:
- Suggest cancelling the order
- Ask you to place a new order
