This Seller Policy Library forms part of the Marketplace Seller Agreement and applies to all third-party sellers on the Kingston Express platform.

Kingston Express may update these policies from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated policies.


A) PROHIBITED & RESTRICTED PRODUCTS POLICY #

A.1 Prohibited Products (NOT ALLOWED) #

Sellers must not list, sell, or dispatch products including but not limited to:

  • Illegal, stolen, or unlawful goods
  • Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized branded products
  • Products infringing trademarks, copyrights, or patents
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or controlled items
  • Narcotics, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
  • Unsafe, recalled, or banned products
  • Products prohibited under Jamaican law

Listings may be removed without notice.


A.2 Restricted Products (CONDITIONAL) #

Certain products may be listed only with prior approval, documentation, or special handling, including:

  • Medical or health-related items
  • Food or consumables
  • Chemicals, batteries, or pressurized items
  • Age-restricted products

Kingston Express may impose additional requirements or remove access at its discretion.


B) PRODUCT LISTING STANDARDS #

Sellers must ensure that all listings:

  • Accurately describe the product
  • Use truthful images of the actual item
  • Clearly state condition (new, used, refurbished)
  • Display correct pricing and availability
  • Do not contain misleading claims

Prohibited listing practices include:

  • Keyword stuffing
  • False scarcity claims
  • Misrepresentation of brand or origin

Failure to comply may result in listing suppression or account enforcement.


C) PRICING & FAIR DEALING POLICY #

Sellers must price products transparently and fairly.

Prohibited practices include:

  • Deceptive pricing or hidden charges
  • Artificial price inflation during emergencies
  • Manipulation of discounts or promotions

Kingston Express may:

  • Remove listings
  • Limit price ranges
  • Suspend selling privileges

to protect buyers and platform integrity.


D) SELLER PERFORMANCE STANDARDS #

Sellers are expected to meet minimum performance thresholds, including:

  • Timely order fulfillment
  • Low cancellation rates
  • Accurate inventory availability
  • Prompt response to buyer inquiries

Kingston Express may monitor:

  • Order defect rates
  • Dispatchment delays
  • Policy violations

Failure to meet standards may result in graduated enforcement actions.


E) REVIEWS & RATINGS ABUSE POLICY #

Sellers must not engage in any activity intended to manipulate reviews or ratings.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Posting reviews for one’s own products
  • Paying for or incentivizing reviews
  • Coordinating fake reviews
  • Harassing buyers regarding feedback

Violations may result in:

  • Review removal
  • Listing suppression
  • Account suspension or termination

F) DROPSHIPPING & SOURCING POLICY #

Dropshipping is permitted only if:

  • Seller is the merchant of record
  • Seller controls product quality and delivery
  • Products ship in unbranded or seller-branded packaging
  • Third-party marketplaces are not disclosed as the source

Prohibited dropshipping includes:

  • Listing items sourced directly from other marketplaces
  • Using third-party sellers without authorization
  • Lack of product traceability

Kingston Express may restrict or ban dropshipping practices at its discretion.


G) DANGEROUS GOODS / HAZMAT POLICY #

Sellers must comply with all applicable laws and platform requirements when listing hazardous or regulated goods.

Hazmat products may include:

  • Batteries
  • Flammable liquids
  • Aerosols
  • Chemicals

Sellers must:

  • Disclose hazardous characteristics
  • Follow packaging and labeling requirements
  • Obtain approval where required

Non-compliant items may be refused, removed, or destroyed.


ENFORCEMENT ACROSS ALL POLICIES #

Violations of any Seller Policy may result in:

  • Warnings
  • Listing removal
  • Fund holds or reserves
  • Suspension of Dispatchment Services
  • Account termination

Severity, frequency, and risk are considered.


APPEALS #

Sellers may appeal enforcement actions through Seller Central by submitting:

  • Explanation of the issue
  • Corrective actions taken

Appeals must be submitted within the specified timeframe.


POLICY UPDATES #

This Seller Policy Library is a living document and may be updated at any time.

Sellers are responsible for reviewing and complying with current versions.
